TEAM Provide

TEAM Provide is organised and led by the Volunteering Executive Officer, Darcie Tyler-Henley, and consists of a number of students with a passion for volunteering.

Purpose of TEAM Provide

• TEAM Provide is formed to advise the Volunteering Officer and Provide on the direction and strategy of student community volunteering within Queen Mary, Barts and the London and the local community.
• Members of the team will give feedback and lay comment to ideas and issues regarding volunteering, communication, events and other projects.  In doing this TEAM Provide will be a sounding group and think tank for volunteering related issues.
• The TEAM will be led by the elected Volunteering Officer, Ruth Faulkner, and will advocate on behalf of students to ensure that volunteering has a greater depth and diversity of student voice within its organisation, and address the long term issues of student participation.
• In the long term the Team should challenge, generate and verify the decisions made by Provide and the Volunteering Officer regarding student volunteering, increase representation, and help act and monitor as a support system for volunteers. This will inevitably make Queen Mary’s Volunteering programme more student led.
