Shake your money maker

As the sun attemps to creep through the clouds across the country, so does money begin to navigate its way towards good causes, through a combination of exciting events and collection drives throughout London.

 

As has already been highlighted, Provide is coordinating with a wide array of organisations to promote activities and events similar to those at the Olypmics, but if your heart is more into the charity and less into the stewarding then fear not: opportunities are here for you as well.

 

A brief search for 'bucket' in the search engine for this site should turf up three great chances to get involved by rattling away to solicit donations from many and plenty besides, while if you have more in mind than collecting by the bucket-load then why not try to go one step better and be a part of fundraising teams across the capital. Lots of organisations signed up to the website are offering opportunities through Provide and your help could bring countless benefits to the organisations and to yourselves, and more importantly to the recipients of the monies you would reap by participating in these superb volunteering opportunities.

 

And if THAT still doesn't take your fancy, and you're interested in doing even more, then why not sign up for a charity run? Women for Women International has a number of places available for their 10k run on 23rd July, but they're running out quickly, so if you feel like you want to get active for someone then sign up here and get practising on the treadmill.
