CAD – Cooking Breakfast for the Homeless at Whitechapel Mission
Sunday 15th January, 6am-11.30am

Fancy getting out and making a real difference to someone’s day? On Sunday 15th January, you have the opportunity to cook a full breakfast for the local homeless at the Whitechapel Mission shelter, an enlightening experience that will be extremely worthwhile and may even improve your own skills in the kitchen. Volunteers will be supervised by members of staff at the Mission and told exactly how to cook the breakfast items. No skills are required other than enthusiasm and a desire to help!

This will be an early start, meeting at 5.30am at the Mile End campus, so please bear this in mind when applying. As you can appreciate, the weather is getting wetter and colder and the shelter needs to open its doors early.

To apply for this volunteering opportunity, please log in as a volunteer on www.providevolunteering.org and search for ‘Whitechapel Mission’ in the search box at the top of the page. Once you have applied, we will email you to let you know where to meet.
