How Do I Use The Website?

  1. Applying for a Volunteering Opportunity
     

  • Firstly, you need to log-in to the website using this email address and the password you selected when you registered. If you have forgotten this, click on the ‘forgotten Details?’ link in the log-in box for it to be resent to you.
  • You can then search for the opportunities that you are interested in, using the search box at the top of the screen.

    For example, if you want to find more details on Mentoring volunteering opportunities, type in ‘mentoring’ into the search box.
    If you are interested in finding out what CADs are coming up, click on the advanced link in the search box and select the CAD icon in the interests field, and all of the current CADs will come up in the search.

  • To find out more details on an opportunity in your search results, you need to click on the ‘more’ link on the right hand side of the screen.
  • To apply for an opportunity, you need to click on the ‘Apply’ button at the bottom of the detailed opportunity page. You can only apply for opportunities if you have logged in as a volunteer (See first bullet).
  • The organisation/charity will then get back to you with more details and to arrange a meeting.
